We are pleased to announce the scholarship awards for Summer 2018. See details at bit.ly/pdscholar

Deb Winstead applied to attend a workshop in Orland Park, Illinois, entitled “Differentiating Sensory from Behavior,” on June 05. Leanne Hinton applied to attend Steve Spangler’s Science in the Rockies Conference, July 10-12, in Denver, Colorado. Five teachers applied to attend the International Society for Technology in Education’s annual international conference at McCormick Place in Chicago June 24-27. Those five are Hannah Shierl-Orelana, Shelly Golden, Megan Lee, Alejandro Varela, and TC Michels. Three of our teachers applied to go to the Summer 2018 Get Your Teach On Conference in San Diego, CA. Barb Baker, Bailey Cavanah, and Jenny Bredemeier will attend the national conference June 24-26.

We are very happy to have been able to fund many of the expenses associated with every application we received this year. While we o not know if this opportunity will present itself again next year, we are very grateful for everyone who participated this year. We believe we have a very good model going forward, if funding becomes available again in the future.

Thank you again for listening today. Please take a moment to offer a review on Apple Podcasts or Pocket Casts, or wherever you are listening.
