Teaching Resources for Sept. 11

With Sept. 11 just around the corner, this old Social Studies teacher has to share a few tips.

A number of excellent resources, including lesson plans & interactive online activities, can be found at the September 11th Education Program page at www.socialstudies.com/ . (Of course, other resources are available for a fee, too.)
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum had some excellent suggestions for talking with students about 9/11, as well as Lesson Plans and Teaching Guides to support your classroom activities.
